How to dialogue with a teacher helps children learn

1)    Five languages expressions:
  • Community of enquiry
  • Intermental Development Zone
  • Properly acknowledge teachers
  • Scheme of work
  • Practitioners
·
2) Three main ideas:
  • The dialogue between teachers and students is essential because teachers have to show students how to do the activities. This method is better than the other method, where the teacher only speak and students only listen to him.
  • It is important that student ask questions and answer them to reformulate their knowledge and see that there are different perspectives.
  • During the learning, the teacher has to motivate students and challenge them because the teacher is a cognitive guide who need help students with open questions and answers.

3) General idea:
The dialogue is very important to have a good communication between teachers and students. Teachers should know when ask questions because these questions can help students to establish the first communication. From here, it can be a dialogue (with the body language or with the speaking) and begin the process of teaching and learning.

 4)  My opinion:
I think that the dialogue is fundamental during the process or learning because, with questions and answers children can understand in a better way the language and they can share their knowledge.
Other important thing that I liked about the article is the several good ideas that the article mention and any teacher can use in a CLIL class. For example, the dialogue between teacher and students is essential for the learning. Other example is about how teacher can use the language as a tool to teach content and different topics.

To conclude, I would like to say that teachers have to create a good environment to motivate student to participate and make questions. It is important that students feel comfortable during their learning and take a participatory role during the classes.
